Re: D7100 and ASUS memopad Fhd10
If the D90 works with USB on Asus then the D7100 should also work.
If you can try a different USB OTG adapter.

Re: D7100 and ASUS memopad Fhd10
Maybe it is up to the USB OTG adapter.
I also have a D7100 and it works for sure with USB and Android (Nexus7, Samsung Galaxy S2)
Do you use the USB cable that came with the camera?

Re: D7100 and ASUS memopad Fhd10
The D90 should have live view.
Try to turn on the D7100 and then plug in the USB OTG adapter into the Asus.

Re: qDSLR crashed now won't restart?
In your user folder please delete the
~/.config/DslrDashboard
folder (this is where qDslrDashboard saves the settings - will be regenerated after start)
you best do this from a terminal screen with (note the 'dot' in front of config)
rm -rfv ~/.config/DslrDashboard/

Re: Can I Quickly Toggle On Bracekting / Toggle Viewfinder View?
I'm still not sure what you mean under viewfinder. Do you mean this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viewfinder Here is a screenshot of qDslrDashboard explanation.jpg You can enable/disable 'Host mode' with the button I marked in the screenshot. While the camera is in live view 'Host mode' can't be dis...

Re: dual display, how to setup?
Ah, then I misunderstand the question.
On Nikon you can't.
On Canon (at least with 650D) after I activate LV in qDD I can turn on the camera live view to by pressing the LV button on camera.
