Re: Pt hub and mp360 WIRELESS OPERATION
As a workaround, you might like this quick, cheap hack that I use because I prefer qDslrDashboard over the camranger: http://frozentime.se/cam_trig/bescor_remote.html

Remote control of a Bescor MP-101 motorized head
I love DDServer, and choose to use it instead of the horribly expensive CamRanger that I bought, because DDServer is more stable and I prefer the interface. The only advantage of the CamRanger for me is that it can also control the Bescor MP-101 motorised tripod head that I use on top of a 12m mast....

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
It works ! And I have no idea why. The order of operations, the long click ? I thought I had tried every combination, but maybe not. Slight suspicion that an OS upgrade since I last tried might have helped, but not convinced. Anyway, thanks for ideas, and thanks for the product Zoltan. I just sent a...

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
That's useful to know. I was about to spend another day redoing everything and trying variants, but won't put myself through that now.
Don't think it's El Cap, as iOS fails for me too.
But there's still that thing that the MR3040 doesn't properly acknowledge the camera even being plugged in....

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
Hi, and thanks for the suggestions.
I don't have anything like that active, and the cameras work fine on my real CamRanger.
I've clicking multiple times (many, many times.....), and repeating all steps in different order.
It's driving me crazy....

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
Sounds great Rocky, and everyone else seems to have a great experience with qDSLR, but since I have a D700 and a D810, I don't have inbuilt WiFi,
which is why I hacked an MR3040 to become a WiFi-dongle. But I'm missing something. Frustrating that it's so close to working.

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
Hi, I do use the big USB port, and I have tried 2 cameras and 6 USB cables. I actually have a CamRanger that all the hardware works fine on, but I actually prefer qDslrDashboard from what I've seen when USB tethered. And I'm really confused by it not working, as when I look at the 'system led config...

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
No, I don't see that. I just get two lines, no mention of the camera type. I have tried two cameras and 3 cables. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sep 8 15:48:28 OpenWrt kern.inf...

Re: qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
OK, that was good to know, but the problem is still there. How can I get more information on where the problem is ? When I click on the network button, the qDslrDashboard inferace doesn't show any change, but I see this arrive in the OpenWrt log file : -----------------------------------------------...

qDslrDashboard + El Cap + D810 : Cable works, wifi doesn't.
Hi there, I have a similar problem to qbrena, in that I can get qDslrDashboard to work via USB cable, but not via wifi and MR3040. My configurations are : MacAir and iMac running latest El Capitan (10.11.3 (15D21)), Wifi only, no ethernet connection. Nikon D810 and D700, various USB cables, includin...
