I upgraded from 0.2.9 to 3.5.3 today, hopping for more smooth connection,which I Did not experience. But more important, I cannot find the manual focus bruttons any more, which are crucial for focus stacking. Are they really gone? And how can I do focus stacking and set the focus point 1 and 2 (also...

I have also tested Helicon Remote, which has this very useful feature, but qDslrDashboard is superior in most other areas.

I'm using Nikon D7000, so that explains the MUp. The capture delay in camera only gives me prox. one sec., which is not enough for flash recycling, i.e. I understand that there is no solution to this in qDslr. This should be possible to include?

Yes, that's the on that stops at 1/30, but also when I go into Exposure camera settings. No difference.
