Happy to test it for you if you tell me what I need to do to ensure a proper test. Given the popularity of the D500 and qDslrDashboard, getting everything working properly would be very welcome.

I have V2 but I haven't updated firmware since I first did it 1-2 years at as I didn't realise I needed to / didn't know you'd made changes to DDServer rather than the IOS app. Should I upgrade the firmware then to resolve the video start button issue?

I still can't start a video recording with qDslrDashboard v3.5.3 / TPLINK-MR3040 wifi connection with my Nikon D500 (worked straight-forwardly with Nikon D7000) without first removing XQD / SD cards and re-inserting them while camera switched on.
