I thought I had the latest firmware - but have just checked and there was an update. I updated to 1.0.4 and I can now connect.

I can't get 3.5.3 to work with my Mk 4. I can't connect, have tried everything I can think of for it to work with the built in wi-fi - I did put a thread about it a few days ago, but no reply yet.

I've not tried with my TP link router yet - will give it a go and reply here if it works.

Fixed - yes it was - in live view it won't go below 1/30th, without live view selected it works properly. The camera nmust assume that M mode and live view is for video. Thanks.
