Thanks. But as far as I can see, OTG doesn’t exist for USB C. (apparently because it’s not necessary with USB C)

USB C not working
Hi. Has anyone got USB C working with qDslrDashboard? I have a Galaxy Note 8 and a Canon EOS R. They work fine via Wi-Fi but not at all via USB. I've tried several different combinations of cables including USB C to USB C and a USB C to USB A with the supplied A to C Adapter but there is no connecti...

I had a similar problem.
I fixed it by turning on the "Send images to smartphone" from the "Wireless communication settings" menu of the EOS R.
