I was already thinking about multiple folders for cameras but not sure how to name them.
If I name them by the camera model then you will again have 1 folder for cameras that are the same model.
Maybe I could use the camera serial number.

Did you use the OpenWrt image available at http://dslrdashboard.info/downloads/ with the ddserver package? If you go the OepnWrt web interface under System->Software do you see the ddserver package. Does 'DIGICAMCONTROL' work with ddserver? If you use that software it is best you ask on the DigicamC...

The USB button will not indicate that, you have a list of connected DSLR on left side.

What where the parameters used (shutter, iso, aperture, interval)?

As far I know the S3 mini does not have USB host so only wireless connection will work.
