Currently only the Sony ones that have built in wireless (ILCE-7, ILCE-7M2, ILCE-7R, ILCE-7S, ILCE-5000, ILCE-5100, ILCE-6000, NEX-5R, NEX-5T, NEX-6, DSC-HX60, DSC-HX400, DSC-RX100M3) Probably some of the Nikon mirrorless cameras will work but there is no documentation for them and don't own any so ...

So slowest shutter was 4s and you used interval was 5 s ? Did you use the qDD interval timer or an external timer? You must have around 3 second between the slowest shutter and your interval (depends on model and could be higher) qDD needs some time to download the JPG file to analyze it and to make...

You already have such feature. You long press the qDD capture button (it will turn red) and then after capture qDD will download the image.

Do you use the qDD interval timer? Do you use an external interval timer? What is your slowest shutter speed and interval? What you mean by 'controls on the right side vanish' ? If the application do crash and you restart you must establish again the connection with the camera with the 'Network' but...

Don't know how your PC is connected to your router (wired / wireless) ?
If it is wired then the easiest would be to plug out the network cable from your home router and plug it in the MR3040.
