Sky stacking mode ISO ?

Post by wyattrice »

Hi,
Newbie here.
First of all, this is a great application you have.
I'm using the Windows version, and I'm connecting to a Nikon D5300 in wifi mode, and it's working great!
I'm interested in using qDslrDashboard in the Sky stacking mode to do some Astrophotography.

I like the way you can add multiple items to take a series at different shutter speeds and bulb exposures.
Is there a way you could possibly add a ISO setting in the add items?

Example:
Item 1.) Frame Count 3, shutter speed bulb, bulb time 60, ISO 800
Item 2.) Frame Count 3, shutter speed bulb, bulb time 30, ISO 1600

Many Thanks,
Wyatt

Hi hubaiz,
I just wanted thank you for adding this in the latest release.
I didn't know that is was added until recently.
I bought your android version yesterday, and it's working good.

I'm using qDslrDashboard wifi with a Nikon D5300.
Recently, I had to change the ip address in the Nikon, using the nikon wifi app wmu because of conflicts with a router.
I can still connect with qDslrDashboard by holding the Nikon button down, and entering the new ip, but qDslrDashboard doesn't remember that setting.
It does if I hold the button again and hit ok.
Is there a way to get qDslrDashboard to remember the ip so that the next time I open it up, I just click on the button one time instead of holding the button down each time?

One more suggestion.
Would it be possible to add some kind of focusing aid based on star brightness to the Sky Stacking mode?

Thanks,
Wyatt
