Wireless Connection Crashes

when using the TP-Link MR3040 my connection to the desktop or IOS app crashes after the first use. I have to reflash the firmware on the TP-Link MR3040. Using a Canon 7d Mark ii and a Canon 5d Mark iii. is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?
