Post by WillyA »

Hello all,

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A T280 lost connection via USB and the OTG Adapter on my Nikon D750 after 5-10sec when i press the Live View Button on the App (Windows popup connection lost with your Nikon D750).
Any ideas how to fix this?

Best regards

Hi,
I have the same Tab A SM-T280, and use it with the built in wifi on a D5300.
I haven't tried to connect to it with the usb yet, but it works great with the wifi.
In the settings, I also have "Keep screen on" checked. Maybe try that.
I did notice in the settings of qdslr that there is a setting (Use Android native USB access}

I don't have a mini usb otg cable yet, but maybe that setting might help.
Regards,
Wyatt

Thanks for the info.
I use DD with my Nikon D5300 and Galaxy S7 Edge with OTG cable.
External microphone (Takstar SGC-598) is not recognized. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

If the external microphone is recognized by your camera it must be some camera settings.

Hi Hubaiz!
Congrats for this amazing app! I tried sooooo many others in the past and none of them worked!
Have looked all the different options about the external microphone and the camera but no success so far... :( The mic works fine with the camera alone, but when I use Dashboard with the camera and record video, it does record but with no sound at all....
Is there any external microphone that you know of that works with Dashboard and Nikon?
Thank you so much for your time and advice!

Forgott... There is a camera limitation in some Nikons. External mic won't work with USB connection.

Ordered one external MIC to test, but can only do with D5000, D7100 and D500

Same with D5200 - external mic does not work when camera is connected via USB.
Apparently it's camera limitation.
Will check with D7000 and D610.

Checked D5200, D7000 and D610.
External mic does not work with D5200 while camera connected to qDD.
