Error getting dslr list from ip 192.168.1.1

I've not been able to get my TP-Link 3040 to connect to a Canon 5D MKIII. I have two of the routers which both have the openWrt firmware installed. The first one works great with 3 green lights when connected but number two connects to the iPad ok but when I open DSLR Dashboard and try to connect I get the following message "error getting dslr list from ip 192.168.1.1and only 2 green light"

Any help greatly appreciated.

i assume you're using the same usb cable when connecting the routers to the camera...

if not, try using the usb cable from the working router with the non-working router...
if yes, then the problem is probably with the usb port on the non-working router...

the non-working router is on so the 1st light is power :-)...
the ipad is connected to the non-working router so the 2nd is wlan...
the 3rd light is for internet. it should be on and flashing when applicable, ie when there's data transferring...
the usb port is designed to connect with 3g/4g modem to provide internet access, thus the internet light...
qdd uses the usb port to communicate with the camera...it's having problems thus the error message you're seeing...

after connecting the router to the camera, turning on the router and waiting for it to go through its initialization cycle, as soon as you turn on the camera, the internet light should be on...
no need to do anything with the ipad nor qdd...

Many thanks for the replies.
I've attached a couple of screenshots showing the log which does not show the Canon camera listed as well as a shot showing which lights are on. I've also used 3 different cables which all work fine on the other router.
