Hello,
I am using since some days qdslrdashbord with Canon EOS 77D and Galaxy Tab A
I connect qdslrdashbord via wlan / usb, it works good
Using the qdslrdashbord timer (3000 pics / 4 sec) and start holy Grail.
The timer is not working correctly, because he is changing the shutter speed every time (not 4 sec as wanted) Sometimes for example 2.xx sec / 5.xx sec and so on.
After about +- 100 pictures the app stops and shutdown.
Any idea what can be happening?
Have a nice evening

Holy Grail crush / App shutdown after +- 100 pictures
Re: Holy Grail crush / App shutdown after +- 100 pictures
On what device do you use? If Android then enable the 'Keep screen on' option in qDslrDashboard settings.
Maybe the camera+sd card combo can't handle 4 sec interval, try with 5 sec.

Re: Holy Grail crush / App shutdown after +- 100 pictures
Hello,
thx for reply.
Device is Samsung Galaxy TAB A running with Android 7.1.1. No connection problem to the camera at all.
Camera is EOS 77D + SanDisk 128GB microSDXC UP TO 100MB/Sec Class 10, U3,V30,A1. This combo works great and fast also with 1/2/3/4/5 Sec. In manual camera mode.
I will try and check your recommendation about 'Keep screen on' option.
The again

Re: Holy Grail crush / App shutdown after +- 100 pictures
Yesterday I try the holy Grail with your recommendation
'Keep on screen'
Result: Holy Grail is running up to around 800 pictures than the App shutdown as before. Same problem with the timer!?
My mind: No idea, but I order external intervalometer!!
Next test on next weekend :--(
Any other idea?

Hello,
as I said, there will be another try with qdslrdashbord this weekend.
This time with an External Timer!
First with WIFI
Hardware and Settings:
Timer: 4sec
Canon 77D: RAW+JPG / M Mode / WIFI on
Samsung Tab A: WIFI to Canon Connected and qdslrdashbord with Keepscreen on active.
Several tries:
After about 100 up to 300 Pic'S the app shutdown and ask to start new! No error message! Nothing!
Second with USB Connection
Hardware and Settings:
Timer: 4sec
Canon 77D: RAW+JPG / M Mode /
Samsung Tab A: USB Connected and qdslrdashbord with Keepscreen on active.
Several tries:
After about 100 up to 300 Pic'S the app shutdown and ask to start new! No error message! Nothing!
By the way:
The 77d ist working perfect with manual Timer by using RAW+JPG and also with the external TIMER ist perfect.
In between i change the SD-CARD, all three are working verry good and had no problem to write down the files.
What please can i do to fix the problem?
Is there anybody with a same situation?
Question to hubaiz:
Do you have any other idea what can be wrong? Also i like to try with other Androit device but i dont want to pay dubble!
Can you please ......
