after some 1200 frames of testing .. v0.2.8 seems to work on iOS in connection with a Canon EOS 6D & 5DIII .. any feedback ?

Same here.
A few days ago I did a Sunset with my Canon 7D with over 2000 frames and there was no instability at all.
