Canon 77D connecting over wifi

Hello
I'm trying to connect my Canon EOS 77D via wifi to qDSLRDashboard. I turn wifi on on the camera, pair it to the macbook, then go to qDSLRDashboard and hit the appropriate button to connect wirelessly to a Canon camera. This is what I see in the connection log:
Even though the program clearly found my camera, it started connecting to it and it didn't for some reason.
Is there any fix for it? Or a way to access a more detailed log to find out why exactly the connection failed?
