Raspian Sync Files Camera / Rasperry Directory

Post by Eskapist_77 »

Hi there,

just got qDslrDashboard running on my Rasberry and it works like a charm.
But one issue keeps me struggling - I marked the ''Synchronized capture'' option but in Interval timer mode it doesn't sync to the ''pi picture directory''.
In single picture capture mode it works fine and syncs to the ''pi directory''.

I wonder if anyhone has the final hint for me to solve my missing second sd slot problem, due I'm usind a 6D/550d and I really like backups.

My setup:

Cameras: Canon 6D/550d
Plattform: Raspian Release 2.5 / Raspberry 3 B
qDslrDashboard: V3.5.7

Thank you in advance!

With 'Synchronized capture' enabled if you connect 2 or more cameras to qDD you can initiate a capture on current camera and it will start a capture on other connected cameras to.

Thank you for response!

But what I have in mind is to capture the images on the sd-card of the camera and on the rasperry memory card simultaneously.
When I hit the capture button this works and the image is saved on the rasperry and on the sd-card of the dslr, but not in interval mode.

I wondered if I configured something wrong?

I don't want to use 2 cameras at the same time, I just use one or the other ;)

Thank you in advance!
