Controlmycamera doesn't work with a7sII

Since I bought this app for one reason - to shoot holy grail timelapses (and to avoid using Ramper Pro) I expect it to work!!! But it doesn't.
When I connect it to my Sony a7sII via WIFI I can't change shutter speed or aperture value in the CMC app. I can fire control shot but that's about it.
So, basically I can't do the thing I bought it for!!!
So who is going to return my money for the product that doesn't work???

Is the camera in M mode?
Are you using the latest 'Smart remote control' camera application ( https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/ ... _00-F00002 )

Can you explain this? Maybe a video that demonstrates the problem.
