Sony a7R2 iso settings/ramping doesn't work

Post by photographywithdanny »

Dear all,

with my Camera Sony a7r2 the iso ramping/to set a iso point doesn't work( see in the attachment). I use Controlmycamera and an iphone 8 plus. Does some one use why. Without this function I am not able to create a timelapse from day to night with LRTimelapse...

I really have the feeling what this is a software problem from Controlmycamera because with my old D750 which is sold it works nicely.

Best,
Danny

Check that the 'Smart remote control' camera application is updated ( https://www.playmemoriescameraapps.com/ ... _00-F00002 )

Dear all,

i solve the problem with the help from hubaiz.

That you have to do:
1. Go to your Camera Menü to the Toolbox, to point 4 and set USB-Connection to MTP.
2. Go to the Website hubaiz linked, then download the PMCA Downloader.
3. Then go to your browser, in my case safari to settings to the point add on and confirm the PMCA Downloader.
4. Press Install at the Website.
5. Then Procced the with the Website Install.
6. Turn on you Camera, plug you usb Cabel and press the connect button.
7. Now the update of the New version from Smart remote begins.
8. After installing unplug the USB-Cabel and that it.

After this Proccedure everything works quit nicely, so the key to solve this Problem is to update Smart remote on your Camera.

Best,
Danny
