qDslrDashboard V0.3 beta7 for Android ARM

Post by hubaiz »

Here is a new beta7 build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing

Canon 6D wireless should work now
Sony cameras should work now in LRTimelapse
NMX controller will work now over BLE (it is slower then with serial connetion) (Nexus7 2012 users should use some custom ROM that supports BLE - like Purity)
Some small tweaks to the LRT/interval timer processing

Working fine with Canon 50D but does not recognize Canon 7D. 7D is recognized just fine by Helicon...

Samsung Galaxy S ii, Android 4.1.2, beta 7...

Thanks,
Tom

Ok, did it work with V0.2.9 or earlier version?

Hi Zoltan,

Sorry but Beta 7 does not solve the problem I have since the first release of V0.3: I'm unable to connect my Canon 5D Mark II.
The app closes as soon as I try to connect the camera (ie switch on camera and choose qDslrDashboard as the application to be used), whatever the kind of connection (I tried USB and MR3040) and the Android device used.
No such problem with V0.2.9.
As I proposed in a previous post, I am ready to do any test that could help you to clarify this problem and to fix it.

My configuration:
Android 4.4.2 on Samsung Galaxy Tab PRO (SM-T520) or Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300)
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Hi,
Here a feedback from a short test with this beta7 release:
Configuration :
Nexus 7 2012 tablet / Canon 6D connected through 3040 tplink router ( 6D-USB-3040-Wifi-nexus7 )
Successfull test for the following tests:
Connexion: Ok / disconnection OK many times always OK after first attempt
LRtimelapse feature : OK
sample shoot then 30/40 shot managed from dslrdashboard timer with light variation to simulate sunset : OK
Hoping this feedback helps diagnostics when errors are reported
Regards
Dominique

My guess is that the problem is one of the 5DM2 properties.

It will create a qdd_<date_time>.log file in your Android device Documents folder.
Please send me the files to the support email.
