Samsung tab S installation question

Hi, I just purchased the new Samsung tab s, and when I went to google play, I see that the app is no longer maintained. Followed the the link to the site for android download, tried both options and neither will open. I'm sure I'm missing something, but any advice would be great! Thanks for the help.

What is the exact model of your Android device?
You probably should use the ARM .apk
Did you manage to install the application?

Sm-t800, version 4.4.2

No, nothing I have tried worked. It just says cannot open file.

In you Android settings under Security enable 'Unknown sources'
And then download the ARM version, after downloading you should have an .apk file.

Yes, I saw that on another post. I did try that, but it still says cannot open file.
