Who has experience using dslrdashboard on old IPad IOS 5.5 verion with canon 5D2 and/or 5D3??

As captioned, I have old ipad running ios 5.5 that I want to make use of, to control my 5D2 and 5D3.
Knowing the developer has not tested it on all the Canon EOS models, anybody out there has used this software latest version on 5d2 and 5d2 with old ipad?
