Currently, qDslrDashboard has only 720p as the highest available resolution, even on my DSLR (Nikon D3500) which supports up to 1080p60.
Would it be possible to extend the list of resolutions available? Maybe qDslrDashboard is detecting them wrong?
Extend list of resolutions for recording
Re: Extend list of resolutions for recording
The list of movie recording resolution is updated for models that is know and always up to date.
For the D3x00 models Nikon does not release documentation for developers and as such the movie recording resolutions are not known.

Re: Extend list of resolutions for recording
Alright, I just checked, and the resolution+FPS combos are as follows:
1080p60
1080p50
1080p30
1080p25
1080p24
720p60
720p50
Those are officially available in settings, now, how do they map to the options in qDslrDashboard?
320x216 - 1080p59.94 (let's approximate that to 60)
640x424 - 1080p50
1280x720 - 1080p29.97 (that would be 30)
640x424 24 - 1080p25
640x424 25 - 1080p23.98 (24)
640x424 - 720p59,94
1280x720 24 - 720p50
That's an EU version of the camera, by the way. I'd imagine the real framerates in the US would actually be proper in the 24/30/60 rates, and slightly off in the 25 and 50 rates.
