Installation question

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, I have been running qdslrdashboard v0.2.6. I went to the website, clicked downloads clicked mirror 1 Android v0.2.9 ARM. It downloaded and when I look at the file it's file named qDslrDashboard_V0.man. What do I do with that?

Change the extension to .apk
On my Nexus7 Chrome also renames it to .man
If I download it with the EsFile manager the extension is not changed, presume it is some Chrome security feature
