Thank you to take care of my issue
From my PC wireless, I can access the 3040 with my browser with 192.168.2.1
for the 3020 at 192.168.3.1 it's not possible
Nevertheless during these tests, it was very amazing, I succeeded to have both dslr connected with the following sequence:
- long press 192.168.2.10 allows to connect the dslr connected to the 3020 /actually single press with 192.168.2.1 doesn't work but then automatically it scans at 192.168.2.10 for the next network press.
- single press ( looking again to 2.10 ) allows to connect the dslr connected to the 3040
This sequence from my PC that I connect first to the ddserver wifi I see , the second one with the 3020 is not visible from the PC wifi scan
Then I succeeded again with the same kind of sequence from my nexus 7 tablet.
with the tablet once connected to the wifi network of the 3040, then only one single network press allows to see both dslr, I can see it is looking at 192.168.2.10.
All these information show that I am able to connect, even if it seems that there is something not correct in my rooters parameters.
So either these results show to you where I missed something, and you are able to explain this amazing process?
or I keep like that knowing what I have to do.
Once again, thank you not only for your help, but for this great piece if software
Actually,I edited this post because maybe the keypoint I missed is the switch on the 3020 router, I made almost all my tests with the switch on 3G/4G like on my 3040. then when I succeeded I discovered that the switch was on WISP ! / maybe this explain my issue. I keep it like that !
Best regards

Did another test and I also couldn't access the client at 192.168.3.1 from my browser.
What I needed to do is set 'Forward' to 'Accept' in AP firewall rules for the wifi->lan

Not sure if this is because my MR3040 (AP) settings.
On my MR3040 wireless is set as a 192.168.2.1 network and the LAN interface is set as a DHCP client so I can plug it into my home network.

You can try and change the firewall rules on you AP and allow forwarding.

Hi
Thank you for the last information provided.
I will try to change the fireval rules as suggested.
on the other hand, with my current parameters it is working, only single press on network button, and I can see the 2 dslr.
Best regards

Dear Community!

I´m using OSX 10.10.

Just flashed my TP-MR3020 with open wrt (12.09, r36088).
I can access the device on my terminal -seeing a nice vodka drink recipe :) -
but cant´t connect it with my browser anymore (neither with http://192.168.1.1 or 192.168.3.1 or 192.168.0.254) with connected ethernet cable and WISP enabled.

I want to install the ddserver but I´m a bit helpless now as some of probably helpful links in this forum are no longer available.
Can anyone give me further instructions on how to proceed?

I´m very unexperienced with programming but maybe it´s just some minor step I just missed out?

My final goal is to connect either my laptop or my iphone 5s to the TP3020 / Canon 5dII combination (or 50d or 400d ... as I have a choice) .
Thanks in advance for any helpful instructions!!

Best regards
Boris

For MR3020 you have the images here:
factory: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing
sysupgrade: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing

From where did you get the image that you flashed?

Got it from here:
http://daviddarts.com/piratebox-diy-openwrt/
My thoughts were open wrt is the same anyways... probably a mistake from me?
Thx for your quick reply, that´s really appreciated!!

It is the same OpenWrt but not with same packages

If your MR3020 has access to internet and you can access the MR3020 with ssh or telnet you can do

opkg update
wget http://dslrdashboard.info/?wpdmdl=316

probably you will get a file name as ?wpdmdl=316 so you should rename it to
mv ?wpdmdl\=316 ddserver_0.2-13_ar71xx.ipk

and then you can install it with
opkg install ddserver_0.2-13_ar71xx.ipk

It should automatically install the packages required by ddserver

Hmmm...
that´s really too much for my abilities, as I have no idea how to access to the 3020 any further
I don´t knoe how to operate ssh or telnet, as I´m a lousy beginner, and I can´t connect
to it with my browser...
I would need a step-to-step guidance to proceed.
I understand if this is probably too much too ask for, but if there´s a detailed instruction somewhere or you can give me further help,
you´ll make my day... I keep trying of course.
Seems I was a little too exited and underestimated the necessary knowledge...
Cheers anyways!

You wrote here that you can access the router. If you get the vodka recipe that means you have ssh or telnet access.

yes true... sorry for the misunderstanding.
Seeing the open wrt in the terminal was not more for me than a confirmation that is on my device.
I have no idea what to do next, as I don´t know how to proceed in the terminal.
Telnet and ssh is cryptic for me.
I thought it continues with accessing the 3020 from the browser again to get ddserver on it.
