While connected to the camera, at the bottom right corner is a counter (for remaining images?).
This counter shows the capacity of the chip aka the number of images available.
But the value does not decrease as expected while taking shots.
The value remains the same (unchanged) until the chip is full (with the result that some planned shots may get missing).
The camera itself display the correct value for the remaining image count on the chip.
Am I missing something here?
This appears on my Nikons D300, D300s, D5
Did not check with other cameras.
