Samsung S5 USB Link to Nikon D5300
Re: Samsung S5 USB Link to Nikon D5300
By the way when I connect the D5300 via the OTG cable to the Samsung S5, a window pops up on the S5 asking if I want to connect to the D5300, Gallery or Camera Importer once or always. I select once for the d5300 and QDD launches. However, then pressing on the QDD USB icon does not do anything.
Re: Samsung S5 USB Link to Nikon D5300
Correction: When I have the D5300 connected to the S5 and power on the D5300 the S5 asks whether I wish to connect to G+ Camera Importer, Gallery or qDslrDashboard (not D5300).
I would appreciate hearing back from you on a solution to this issue. From the various postings from other buyers of qDD on your site about usb issues it seems there issomething about the way qDD interacts with Android.

I am disappointed that I have not heard back from you on this issue. Are you investigating the problem?

I can't help you.
Did what could do. That's all. For more you need to ask developer, not other users.

Turns out this is a Samsung problem ( http://developer.samsung.com/forum/boar ... eId=285782 )
In the upcoming days I will post an updated Android version.
USB connection will work on these Samsung devices if you select qDslrDashboard in the dialog that you get when the camera is connected with USB.
If you dismiss that dialog and try to use the 'USB button' in qDslrDashboard that will not work as the permission will be never granted (hope Samsung will fix it).
Thanks for all who helped me.
