Hi there, I am all very new to this side of photography.
My question is, will the tp link 3020 work with DSLR dashboard?
I have installed Open Wrt on the unit, and tried to install dd server package with no luck,it is in the tmp folder but i don,t know how to install the package from there.

To be able to install the ddserver package your router must be connected to the internet as it needs to install additional packages.
Also probably it will work only with the Attitude Adjustment OpenWrt version as the ddserver package was compiled using that version.
You have here the MR3020 OpenWrt images that already contain the ddserver package:
