Install qDslrDashboard on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B

Post by snahl »

Hi all,
I am in the process of installing qDslrDashboard on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B.
I carefully followed the descriptions by SdP http://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewto ... t=20#p4267 and also http://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewto ... 1480#p3970.

At Sartup the camera connected is recognized properly:

Code: Select all

lsusb
qDslrDashoard starts as well, but:
- the camera is not recognized
- some icons on the top row are white squares (no symbols)
(left-to-right: 6 icons are white, 4 icons show content, last 2 icons are white)

When turning the camera off, while qDslrDashboard is running, qDslrDashboard dies.
Turning the camera back on shows this:

the camera is recognized and can be accessed:

As a thought this might have something to do with switching between MTP/PTP..

Would be great if someone can assist in helping me to get this application running on a Raspberry.
Greetings, Hans.

PS: other versions of this app are running fine for me on NEXUS7, Redmi Note 3 and Windows 10-64
