Wondering if any headway has been made with Qdslr and Sony cameras? I have Sony A7Rii and use qdslr attempting auto holy grail. I can't get any consistency with qdslr. I had it working a few months ago and did a decent time lapse of a sunrise, now nothing is really working. Now, I can't set the minimum shutter speed and the auto ramping is questionable at best.
Can someone provide a step by step setup so we at least can make sure we are not the problem and then we can focus on the app?
I am using the Sony A7RII, have the most recent play memories app installed, connect to the camera with qdslr, enter the LR screen. I have used a samsung note 3, galaxy 7 active, and a generic android tablet.
- What mode should the camera be in for doing a sunrise or sunset? Manual or Aperture?
- What other settings in on camera app besides Raw + jpg is important?
Any other ideas? Thoughts?
I am really frustrated having this great tool so close to being able to use but failing so often...
