No video record on D7200 and MacOSX

Hi, I have successfully connected my Nikon D7200 via USB and also via WLAN.
Before I was going to buy the iOS version I wanted to try the functionality on the Mac.
Unfortunately I cannot record video on either connection.
BTW: changing the setting of the record button in the camera menu didn't change anything...

With built-in WiFi there is no video recording - read camera manual.

I do understand, that there is no video recording with the built in WLAN but shouldn't it work with USB?
