Set up MR3040 on Macbook

QQ Can i set this up and flash it on a macbook?

Also its a brand new out of the box 3040 so i only need to flash the factory file right??

I've always flashed both images and it can be done on any system.
Flashing is based on router web interface so only a web browser is needed.
