I see in the introduction page that qDslrdashboard does image stacking. Can someone direct me to where in the manual it explains how? I simply don't see it.

Because qDD does not stack images. It automates taking photos for few types of image stacking.

Use qDD to take at least 2 photos and than stack them in photo editing software.
There is no combining photos.qDslrDashboard is a free cross platform application for controlling Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras.
