I read in the forum and also on other internet posts that people had problems to start qdslrdashboard on Windows.
The behavior is that it crash on startup with an APPCRASH error for ig4icd32.dll or ig4icd64.dll. After 3 or 4 times crashing it starts.
On my laptop I found that it has to do with the Intel HD Graphics driver that comes with Windows 8.1 by default. The version is 8.15.10.2900. After I installed the latest driver from Dell with the version 8.15.10.2281 the problem has gone.
I hope this information may help others.
