Hi I apologize if this has been brought up before but I was wondering If I could use the Ethernet port on the TP Link MR3040 router to remotely control my Nikon D810 with my laptop (has an Ethernet port)?
From what I have read I see most people are wanting to use the wireless (~40' range?); I would like to have the range (~300ft) and speed that only a wired connection can have and USB is not feasible.
Basically a cheaper version of the UT-1 from Nikon.
I appreciate any help or direction to look,
