will qDslrDashBoard run fine when using the official Raspberry Pi 7" touch display

...that is connected to a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and/or Raspberry Pi 3.
Has anybody put this to work already?
If so, what is your experience?
And what were the eventual specifics to get this combination to work properly?
