Can't connect from windows 10, qdslr 3.51

I'm connecting fine with android but on windows 10 64 running qdslr 3.51 i'm not able to connect.
I can see the router 192.168.1.1 config page from my browser but when I run the app it never transitions over to the image view when I click on the wireless button. Nor do the images ever transfer to the folder I specified. I never see the image capture in progress message.
I tried running as administrator but no luck there either.
