How to reset TP-Link MR3040

Hi,

I have been using my Nikon D800 and MR3040 for the past few months successfully. A few days ago, I was making few minor changes on the router setting and after it rebooted I no longer can access it. I tried to connect using the original 192.168.1.1 or the updated IP that I used for the past few months without any luck. I remember that I never touched / changed the IP address at this instance; yet, the router is no longer accessible.

Any attempt to rest MR3040 by pressing the RESET button was not successful either. If I can do this, then I can restart the entire process with much confidence.

Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance.

Try this with a wired connection to the router: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2101
Also do you see the default 'DDServerAP' wireless access point?

Hi Hubaiz,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

1. I followed your suggestion step by step and it still didn't work.

2. My mobile phone can connect to the SSID that I assigned to MR3040 (it is no longer the default name).

3. However, from the Chrome browser, I cannot hit the OpenWrt landing page using the MR3040's default IP address (192.168.1.1) or the value that I had previously assigned to it.

4. Likewise, using DSLR Dashboard (ver 3.5.3) connected to my camera, I still cannot connect to my Nikon DSLR, with the following Connection Info:

Searching for DDServer
DDserver not found, connecting to IP:192.168.1.1
List connected DSLR at IP: 192.168.1.1

Is there anything else I should do to make it work?

Thanks in advance.

After you connect your Android device to the MR3040 wireless check in your Android device settings under About->Network the IP address that is assigned to it.
