Hello together,
I have connected the D810 via USB with the Nexus 7. QDslrdashboard also detects the connection immediately, but always reports 'usb connectionLost' after some time. QDslrdashboard of course loses the connection and even after restarting the tablet I can not always establish the connection immediately. Does anyone know the problem, I know at the moment no more. Thanks for your help in advance.

Do you use the latest V3.5.2 ?
Is the qDslrDashboard 'Use Android native USB access enabled'? I
f not can you try and enable (or disable) it before you connect your D810?

I use the latest version android 3.5.3. qDslrDashboard 'Use Android native USB access was enabled and I have tried ist also with disable; but the error came again and again. This is the reason why I do not know any more

How long is your USB cable? Can you try another one? Can you try another USB OTG adapter?
Can you try connecting the camera with a powered USB hub?

I am currently in Norway. If I am back in Germany I will buy a different USB cable and another USB OTG adapter. After I have tested everything I report back.

My gear Nikon d810 and my smartphone GalaxyS7edge show "searching for usb devices"

I also have this issue on my D810, but not D800.

I have a Pixel 2 presently, and the application locks up and fails to connect to usb for the D810. It did the same thing on the Motorola Z Play and the newer Motorola Z2 Play.

I've tried multiple USB OTG cables and different USB to Camera Cables of varying lengths from my small pigtail 5inch to longer 18inch cables.

I'm new here but I didn't find an answer to my problem. Therefore I'm asking here:

My D810 is being recognised by my copy of qdslr dashboard running on my Galaxy Note8, but as soon as I try to connect both devices, qdslr crashes and gives up.
Re-installation did nothing to improve the situation.
Has anyone any ideas how I could make things work?
