how to connect a sony A7R2 to macbook via USB with dslrdasboard desktop version?

anyone succeded with this? i did not find any instructions for this but connected the camera in USB PC remote mode to my macbook with the original sony cable, and then scanned usb ports with dslrdashoard app, but the app does not find any connected camera...
any hints?

Only wireless connection is supported with Sony mirrorless models using the Playmemories 'Smart remote control' camera application.

You have to direct this to Sony. It's only in their power to add this.
