Feature Request - Lock Controls
Posted: 14 Jul 2017, 14:38
Hi,
I'm new to qDslrDashboard having just started using it a week ago.
I participate in lot of public astronomy outreach and was thinking QD would be a good tool to show young children the view through the telescope without them having to look through the eyepiece. Children under 8 sometimes have difficulty knowing where/how to look through an eyepiece and frequently grab the eyepiece barrel which can move the target out of view.
My intent is to pass around a tablet showing the view through the telescope.
I could not find a way to "lock" the controls in QD, which is what I'd like to do once the view is set so as to prevent a child (or adult) from accidentally pressing a control and changing things.
Possibly it could be implemented such that pressing two or three controls sequentially in a particular order would lock/unlock access to the other controls.
Thanks for your consideration.
Scifidude.
