App acting up after picture review

Running qdslrdashboard 3.5.5 on an android tab and every time I review a picture my app acst up. All the buttons go white and things get distorted. To fix it i have to restart app. Any suggestions?

It’s the Galaxy Note Pro SM-P900
Running Android 4.4.2. There is no way for me to update it.

I got the same issue on a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro SM-T520 connected via USB to my Nikon D850
