Hello everyone, from many searches on the net I seem to understand that it's possible to set up the MR3020 instead of MR3040 – however, as there is more than one download for the MR3040 it gets really confusing as I have no way of working out which one I should download for the MR3020.
I am trying to make this all work with an iPad4 retina and a Canon EOS 7D. Very grateful for any help, I am stuck.

Thanks so much, that's brilliant. I hope I can work out how to do this – I assume the tutorials for the MR3040 follow the same process?
thanks again!

have managed to set the TP link up but nothing happens when I connect it to my 7D. The network is there, my iPad sees it and is connected to it, but when I open qdslrdashboard nothing happens. any idea why? it's latest version of app
thanks in advance.

Try and long press the 'Network' button and enter 192.168.1.1 as IP address and press the 'Connect' button
Re: Help Please1 Tp-link MR3020 with Canon EOS7D and iPad
Sorry, not sure I get what you mean – the network button on the tp-link? which one is that?
Re: Help Please1 Tp-link MR3020 with Canon EOS7D and iPad
If you are saying that I should enter the IP address somewhere within qslrdashboard, there is no way to do that – I don't get at all the screen in the tutorial video where that can be done.
The cable for the camera works fine because I have tested it.
When the camera is connected to the tp-link, it's on, but kind of dead – no button works.

this is the screen I get when I open qdslrdashboard on the iPad with the camera connected to the tp-link and the ipad wirelessly connected to the tp-link network.

The 'Network' button is the first button from left in the top row.
Long press it and a dialog will open where you can enter the IP.
