Hi,

I'm currently test qdslrDashboard on windows XP plateform which pilot a small telescope and then an EOS dslr. I use a remote connexion through "remote desktop connexion" from a windows 7 machine.

I am able to run qdslrDashboard locally on the PC (win XP), but not during a remote session (from Seven).

It's due to the fact that qdslrDashboard can't run with 16 bits color depth parameter. It requires a 32 bits parameters. The problem is that for such remote connexion we usually reduce the color depth to optimize the bandwidth and performances of the connexion.

Then currently the only solutions is to use of winVNC with 32 bits color depth plateform, but it's slow.
EOS utilities run under 16 bits color depth configuration.

qDD uses OpenGL for displaying the interface that's why it does not work with Windows remote.

Maybe you could try and use the built in camera sharing function.
