Holy grail and HDR ?

Hi,
I am thinking about a timelapse during the coming moon eclipse.
For that I will use the LRtimelapse feature with the holygrail sunset+sunrise... taking care to the parameters.
( thanks to dslrdashboard ! )
I am also thinking about HDR to double the shot in order to get trees or houses in the foreground well exposed.
The issue, so far, is that the holy grail process considers the average of 3 shots ( or 1 or 5? ) meaning even with constant light the average is changing a lot (+++,---, ... )because of the average based on different shutterspeed images
One solution should be to allow to have average on 2 images
( I dont want to have hdr based on 3 images due to the time to wroite 3 images ...)
another solution should be to have dslrdashboard taking into account 1 image out of 2, when we tick on an appropriate HDR button.
Maybe anyother solutions around HDR+holygrail. I am interested in such a feature
Best Regards
Dominique
