Good to know. Havent tried this actually. Still kind of weird that Nikon would limit this. Would be nice for Nature work (Birds, animals, etc) to be able to start a video remote and stop again.
So a wireless router like the TP would still work for this ? Not using the builtin wifi.

Re: D750
Just joined the forum a few minutes ago. I'm getting ready to read through all of the docs to start the knowledge transfer into my old brain. I too recently acquired a D750 and briefly tested the wifi connection on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I had some stability issues so far but more work for me....

Time Lapse software (OSX) - other then LRTimeLapse
Hi, curious to hear what people are using to make timelapse videos. Of course LRTimeLapse is known and looks great, but that's hooked into Lightroom and ACR. I'm using Apple Aperture at the moment and trying out Capture One Pro 8. What are people using for putting together timelapse videos together ...

Re: D750 wifi and lost connection to iOS
Does the iOS device screen goes off? If yes then that's the problem. Unfortunately on iOS devices application can't run in background like on Android devices. That must be it then. Indeed the screen went black. I have several applications that do run in the background BTW. Also GPS apps for instanc...

D750 wifi and lost connection to iOS
Hi I'm probably missing something or doing something wrong. I started a trial interval shoot today for a time lapse. However already after 16 shots (of 30sec interval) the connection was lost I assume. Qdslrdash kept on showing that shots were made but nothing happened on the camera. Do I need to do...

D5500/D750/D7200 wifi
Hi, thanks for the software. I'm using the iOS version with a D750 and tried out the desktop version (OSX) with D300 before. In the Nikon wifi connection it says trying to connect Nikon WU-a1/1b/D5300 There are more nikons out there in the mean time with Wifi. D5500, D750, D7200. Maybe the message c...
