Did you ever get your 5D working? I'm having no luck at all with the 5D MKII or III. My 40D seems to work no problem though.

I've tried about 10 different USB cables. Like I said, it seems to work fine straight USB to the Mac, so I can't imagine it has anything to do with my cables or ports (especially on 2 seperate 5D's). The long press method does not connect.

I tried on my old 40D, and everything seems to work as expected. There's something in this setup that is not working with the 5D MKII or the 5D MKIII. They both work with the software on the MacBook when directly connected via USB though.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I've got a 3040 v2.5. Firmware loaded no problem and I can connect to the network. But no live view or communication with either of my 5D's. Tried posting to the forum, but I my submission still hasn't been moderated I guess?

I received my 3040 yesterday. Checked the HW version on the back to see it is ver 2.5. Haven't seen a lot of reference to that particular model online. Proceeded to load up the v2 OpenWRT firmware.
