if i understand it correctly, the tplink solution with DDserver will not work on a sony camera, because the sony's app 'smart remote' will use it's own wifi connection to send and receive data and the use of this app is mandatory. is there any trick to go around this and use the tplink box with an A...

anyone succeded with this? i did not find any instructions for this but connected the camera in USB PC remote mode to my macbook with the original sony cable, and then scanned usb ports with dslrdashoard app, but the app does not find any connected camera...

any hints?

if i start a custom bracketing session, the 'capture in progress' information will appear, but never disappear again. i also cannot stop the bracketing in any way. version 3.5.2 on iOS 10.2.1 connected to Sony A7R with firmware 3.20.
