Re: Nikon 1 V3 - Only partly functioning

I'm the OP on this thread. But there's clearly more than one of us with this issue. "What is the exact problem?" --> see my detailed description in https://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=8130#p8130 above. I've tried qDslrdashboard for Windows 10 and for Android; same problem. Yo...

Re: Nikon 1 V3 - Only partly functioning

**UPDATE** qDSLRDashboard is working fine with my Nikon Z6 (wired and wifi). However, my Nikon V3 is still only partly functioning under Android with my Pixel 2 and with my Galaxy Tab S2 (with OTG cable). With direct wired connection: - qDSLRDashboard starts with app icons and otherwise black screen...

Re: Nikon Z6/7

Thank you for the quick update for Z6! Quick testing shows everything appears to be working properly for direct OTC connection (USB-C between Z6 and my Pixel 2). I still have some things to work out for connection with my Nexus 7 (micro-USB to USB-C/OTC issues, I think). Also haven't had time to che...

I need the Z6 USB product ID to be able to add it (probably 0x0443).
Thanks for the reply. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, latest version. The Z6 USB Product ID does indeed appear to be 0x0443; see attached screenshot.

Nikon Z6/7

Apparently the new Nikon Z6 and Z7 implement Open Wi-Fi (per https://lrtimelapse.com/review/nikon-z6-and-z7/). Do you intend to add support for these cameras? Edit: According to the above LRTimelapse review: "Via the undongled WiFi I was able to connect the camera directly to my Smartphone and ...

Re: Nikon 1 V3 - Only partly functioning

Nikon does not release documentation for developers for the Nikon 1 V3. I don't understand. Documentation is included in the Nikon 1 V3 SDK: S-SDKNikon1V3-004BF-ALLIN\Command\English\V3UsbMtpE_1.0.1.doc and S-SDKNikon1V3-004BF-ALLIN\Module\Win\documents Doesn't this count as 'documentation for deve...

Re: Ver 3.5.3 crashes in Windows

OK, I got qDslrDashboard working in Windows without a crash (so far at least).

However, I'm still having no success getting all functions to work (especially actually taking a photo) with my Nikon 1 V3. See my emails to you with subject line "Ver 3.5.3 crashes in Windows".

Nikon 1 V3 - Only partly functioning

I'm using V3.5.3 (Android/Nexus 5) with a Nikon 1 V3 via USB ('Use Android native USB access' enabled). qDslrDashboard recognizes the camera and most functions seem to work (including LV, but only after I touch the camera icon, and AF) but nothing happens when I try to take a photo. Same behavior us...

Ver 3.5.3 crashes in Windows

Downloaded 3.5.3 (qDslrDashboard_V3.5.3_Windows_x64), extracted .zip, tried to run executable; program crashed (qDslrDashboard.exe has stopped working, etc.)

I've attached files from %temp%, in case they help.
