hubaiz wrote: 15 Jan 2021, 07:09 Please try and disable the 'Use Canon local storage' option in qDD settings.
Enabling this option does the job, see my settings: http://www.wolfgang-kynast.de/tmp/qDD_LinuxMint.jpg

Thank you so much for your help! I have already sold the Win10 laptop :-)

Canon EOS 550D, connected via USB cable - works fine since years with the windows version on an identical laptop.

PS 14.1.2021: the first shot of each try is on the camera's SD card

qDslrDashboard fails under Linux Mint 20

I'm using the app under windows (now 10) for years without problems. Since two days I have another laptop with the latest Linux Mint 20. My last contact with Linux was over 20 years ago and not intensive - so please bear with me ;-) When calling ./qDslrDashboard.sh in a terminal I got the message er...

Re: Cannot control two cameras from one notebook

Sorry - yes, the OS is the latest W10 version.

Do I have to use an other USB port for this WINUSB instance?

Cannot control two cameras from one notebook

Not at the same time, of course :-)

I'm using qDD on my notebook to control a EOS 550D since 3 years without problems.
Now I bought a EOS 80D - is not detected by qDD (same USB-port, same cable).
But I can control the EOS 80D via WiFi.

What can I do to control both via cable?

Re: qDD cannot be terminated after focus stack (Win10)

Camera: EOS 550D connected to notebook with USB cable, in AV modus
qDD: from near to infinity, medium step size, # of shots does not matter.
Reproducible with all stacks.

qDD cannot be terminated after focus stack (Win10)

Hi,

qDD 3.5.5 running on Win10/64 Home 1709 build 16299.309 cannot be closed with the red cross after shooting a focus stack, need to use task manager. No problem with close after single shots.

This does not happen with qDD 3.5.3

Any idea?

Best regards
Wolfgang
