Re: TP-Link TL-MR3040 Firmware mods vs original
Is there anywhere the process is documented in a step by step form?
On Openwrt it is not very clear at all.

Re: TP-Link TL-MR3040 Firmware mods vs original
Thanks. My main concern is the rising price of the MR3040 in my area as the product becomes harder to source. I can buy the Hame A2 for half the price, so will get two, one for use and one as an emergency backup.

Re: TP-Link TL-MR3040 Firmware mods vs original
Is it possible to reset a MR3040 back to it's original firmware?
I am considering using the smaller HAME MPR-A2 router so will want to re-allocate the TP router for something else.

Re: Short Question: Windows 8.1 Smartphone
As far I know it will not work. I don't own a Windows phone yet (hope will manage to get one - maybe to replace my aging Samsung Galaxy S2) and then I can make it work. Hubaiz Have you considered creating a Windows Universal App? You would not need a windows phone, just a windows 8 pc or even a Win...

Re: Short Question: Windows 8.1 Smartphone
No it will not work. The current Windows version is the old style Win32 app and not a newer Metro (Windows 8) app.

Re: Support of Windows for phone
Back on topic. Last week Microsoft made a few announcements which may be of interest. (They'll probably make more sense to you developers. :D ) 1. A new Phone Emulator for developers to test their software. Limited I know, but a good start. http://wmpoweruser.com/new-windows-10-mobile-pre-release-em...

Re: Support of Windows for phone
I have a Lenovo Miix 2 8" tablet running Windows 8.1 32-bit I installed the Windows version 0.2.7 (including USB Driver), generally it's okay but does often lose the connection. The same LV problem happens when connected to my laptop, so more an issue with the software and not the tablet or lap...

TP-Link TL-MR3040 Firmware mods vs original
Hi Sorry if this has already been asked. What is the difference between the modified firmware for the TP-Link TL-MR3040 and the official OEM one? Is there anything preventing me from using a different wireless router? The reason I ask, is because there will come a time when it will be impossible to ...
